What I said above is that "Call of Duty Splitscreen is for consoles only", what is true (apart from black ops 3 of what I'm informed) and that's why the console version is better in my option, along with it being targeted at the console for many other reason's I could write an article on.
Imagine having 4 keyboard /mice on one desk playing a game and then imagine playing a PS4 with 4 mates, the ps4 was better designed for that aspect! Were the PC's however took another route. If you look back to the not so distant future, you can see consoles were designed for people who wanna play with friends/family together in the same room and they souly focused on that at the time, before internet gaming was a reality. I've been gaming on consoles since the Sega Genesis and have a PS4 right next to me currently along with my gaming rig (haven't been on PS4 since my mate played with me last week). Seem's like your the type of guy who thinks they are the most experienced person out there, when they are not. You seem to like jumping to alot of conclusions before properly analyzing stuff
Black ops 3 is good on my pc to, but I hate the movement. The only reason cod is better on console is because devs don't care to much for pc when it comes to cod, although I bought black ops 1 the other week and I am having a better time on it than what I did on the 360. All saying "split-screen is for console" does is hold the pc platform back, we have the power to max games out in split screen and yet people are so against it. Me and the Mrs play some local co-op games on my 24" monitor at my desk, we have a laugh. I came from console and it frustrates me that there are a lack of split screen games for pc.split screen is not made for console, split screen is made for people who have real friends who come over and socialize, or to play with family members.not just for console.
However, logging in to the controller through a guest account on the console will allow only offline modes in split-screen.Wow, what an idiotic comment. As mentioned before, players need two unique accounts to play online. Once in the game, the players need to select if they want to play against other players online or offline. The orientation setting is available in the Graphics settings menu in the game. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War allows players to split their screens either vertically or horizontally. Step 2: Setting the OrientationĪfter connecting both the controllers, the players need to set the screen orientation for split-screen. Not connecting a controller to an account while using a split-screen would limit the game's playability to offline modes only. To begin with, the player needs to connect both the controllers being used via the PSN or Xbox Live accounts. The steps that a player needs to follow to activate the split-screen option are as follows. Most importantly, players would need two separate PlayStation Network or Xbox Live accounts depending on the console in question.
To turn on the split-screen feature in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players need to follow a series of steps.
How to play Multiplayer with Split Screen in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Here's how players can play multiplayer mode in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold war using split-screen. However, using the split-screen feature on consoles for a round of multiplayer matches does have a few requirements. The split-screen feature comes as a nice addition for players in private matches and lets two players playing on the same screen to have enhanced communication between them. But one thing that Activision seems to have done right is the feature that allows players to dive into split-screen multiplayer mode from the comfort of their couch. The community may not be happy with the skill-based matchmaking system or the long grind to max weapons. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was granted an additional feature by Activision and all things considered, the split-screen multiplayer mode may be a solid addition to the game.
